The beauty of Mount Tangkuban Perahu is a popular tourist destination in Bandung and surrounding areas, drawing many interest for both local and foreign tourists. The famous local legend namely Sangkuriang derives and being set upon this mountain attracting numerous study tours to this site.
The non-active crater is a very beautiful site to see and approximately stands 2084 meters above sea level. The mountain shape is called Stratovolcano with the eruption center always moving from east to west. Moreover, the types of rocks resulting from the eruption is mostly lava and sulfur and sulfur vapor still flow out from the crater sometimes.
